I have been working in Early Years for approximately 19 years. I have had experience in a variety of settings including schools and nurseries. I have a BA Honours in Early Childhood Education. I have an extensive understanding of Early Years, the Curriculum and ways of implementing the Early Years Foundation stage Curriculum in a fun and interactive way.

I have worked in Education for the past 16years working with 0- 19 years old. I am working towards my BA Honours in Early Years childcare. I hold a level 3 in childcare, Paediatric first aid food Hygiene and I’m also the Safeguard officer.

I am an experienced, enthusiastic and focused practitioner who is committed to the safeguarding and promoting the education and well being of children at all time.

I have over 20 years experience in early years and primary education. The background towards this experience stemmed from various qualifications such as Diploma in Preschool Learning Alliance, CACHE Level 3 Diploma in Nursery Nursing (NNEB) and Access to teaching where I obtained my degree in BED (Hons) Primary and Early Years Education.

Mandy Walsh

Early Years Practitioner

I have been working with children in different ways for approximately 24 years. I have a BTEC level 2. I am starting my level 3 in September 2017. I have been a member of Castle View Nursery since we opened in September 2015 and love working in this role supporting children’s development through play.




Kiran is our wonderful, qualified and highly professional cook at the nursery, she has years of experience working in catering and is passionate about preparing nutritious and varied meals for the kids and staff. Kiran also facilitates the weekly ‘Messy Play’ session at the Boiler House and runs cooking sessions with the children in the nursery regularly.
